She pursued a Bachelor’s in Computer Science Engineering from Southern Methodist University in Dallas TX, and worked as an Engineer with Accenture Consulting. She then pursued her love of medicine at Touro University Nevada and completed her Obstetrics & Gynecology residency at Oklahoma State University in Tulsa; where she served as Chief Resident and was awarded Resident of the Year. She has a passion for medical informatics as it combines her training. Dr Rahman enjoys teaching and wants to continue working with medical students and residents. She is active with IMANA, which is a nonprofit organization that works with medical relief and emergency disaster relief missions. In addition, she has a goal of travelling to a new country every year with her family and maybe improving her soccer skills.
