Annette D. Greene is a Licensed Master Social Worker with nearly 20 years of experience. She earned her Master’s Degree at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work. She says that she began her career as a social worker at the age of four years when she dived in to help her older sister get ready for her first day of kindergarten. Annette’s career has included counseling adolescents in the juvenile probation system and adults with a dual diagnosis of mental illness and substance abuse, renal social work, professional development and training and Emergency Center social work at TCH Main Campus. As a behavioral health social worker, Annette’s focus is on crisis intervention, providing brief counseling, support group facilitation, self-help education, empowerment training and connecting families with community resources. Nothing delights her more than seeing the difference she makes in the lives of the children and families she serves.
